The “We’re Not Really Strangers” Family Edition card game is an absolute gem that has brought my family closer together in the most unexpected and heartwarming ways. From the moment we started playing, it was evident that this game was designed to foster deeper connections. The questions are thought-provoking and beautifully crafted to encourage open, honest, and meaningful conversations among family members of all ages. It’s been a joy witnessing moments of laughter, introspection, and understanding unfold with each card drawn. What truly sets this game apart is its ability to create a safe space for sharing emotions and experiences. The prompts are not only fun but also remarkably insightful, touching on topics that strengthen the bonds between us. It’s been a catalyst for empathy, understanding, and appreciation within our family dynamic. The quality of the cards is exceptional – sturdy, well-designed, and visually appealing. The inclusive nature of the questions ensures that everyone feels included and valued during gameplay, which is a huge win for a family-oriented game. Moreover, the versatility of this game is outstanding. Whether it’s a cozy evening at home or a family gathering, the “We’re Not Really Strangers” Family Edition adapts effortlessly to any setting, making it a go-to choice for meaningful interactions.I appreciate the intention behind this game – it’s not just about playing cards; it’s about creating memorable experiences and strengthening familial ties. It’s rare to find a game that combines fun, depth, and emotional resonance so seamlessly. In summary, I highly recommend this game to any family looking to deepen their connections, spark heartfelt conversations, and create lasting memories. It’s a beautiful journey of discovery and understanding that has enriched our family life in more ways than we could have imagined.

This was a great addition to our relationship. We do two from every level every few days and it really helps us reconnect and realign. Some of the questions are a little repetitive already, or get answered in our response to the other question, but overall this is a lot of fun and very helpful.

The first time I got this game for my bf, I gifted him the original version. Then I eventually gifted him the relationship “expansion pack,” and now this Couple’s edition. If that tells you how often we have used this game!If you’re on the fence, trust me, just order this game. The simplicity of it and the quality of the questions are superior to other similar-style “get to know you” style games out there. My bf and I have connected so much with these cards, we reach for these for date nights and even play them before bed sometimes, and I love that after you have answered several cards on one level you can go deeper and move to the next “level” of cards together. Your answers and pace may take longer the longer you play, because the questions get more intimate in each progressing level. You also each get a “go deeper” card you can play on your partner if there is a point where you feel they didn’t truly answer the question fully. My bf and I have laughed, learned and connected so much together every time we play, and this game is always guaranteed to lead us to… other ways of connecting, too :)Whether you are newer in a relationship looking to learn more about someone, or have been together for a long time, the questions in either edition will still be relevant. I would say if you are looking to try the game out for the first time for a relationship, and deciding between the Couple’s edition and the Original edition – start with the Original game. That way you can order the Couple’s edition as an expansion when you play this so much that all the cards have become familiar. ♥Original game – you could also play this edition with friends or family, because the questions are not specific to a relationship. These games really work best in a one-on-one setting, but you could probably play with a very small, close group.Couples game – honestly this edition is no better or worse in quality than the original game. Just more specific Qs to a relationship. If you are looking to connect with your partner I would still order the original edition, you will reach for this game more than once so it’s always good to have more editions!

I love these boxes of questions and have ordered multiple sets from this brand, but I do have a problem with the word “game.” It’s not truly a game, no strategy or goal or end game. They are AMAZING questions and really fun conversation builders. I have found that so many people today don’t know how to hold a conversation because they’re so used to staring at their phones. I love the depth and nature of these questions and have spent hours with them in groups. They are really fun and help you to get to know a person.I still wouldn’t call it a game. But I do recoomend.

This is such a fun game! Would make a wonderful gift as well.My husband and I take this along to some of our date nights. They have little activities to do or questions to ask. Fun and insightful. Would work for friends as well!

This game has given me so much insight on the people around me. After each time I play it one or both of us ends up in tears. You learn so much about the person across from you while playing. It can get really uncomfortable and make you think about how honest you have to be to not only yourself but the person in front of you. 10/10 for a night of crying, connection, and laughter.

This helped my boyfriend and I come closer after some hard times! Great to get deeper connections! Opens you up!

Sometimes talking about interrelationship things can feel daunting, and the only way to make it easier is to talk about them more. This game is great because we remember so many great things that brings us together, while also talking about tougher things in a safe space. Ultimately would recommend this to any couple who values true understanding in their relationship.

This game works well. Def play with friends. Me and my sister played but since we know each other we could only do the last stage but it still worked great. It has three stages depending on how deep you want to get with talking and you share what you want. It’s a good game to help get closer to a friend. It also lets you talk about things you never would’ve talked about based off the topics in the cards and how deep you choose to go.
