We had initially found this at a brewery while on vacation with friends and loved it so much that we purchased for home.It is definitely not a game as the cover art suggests, but a box which contains cards with great conversation starters. There are some serious cards, some laughter inducing ones, just generally a great way to spend a cozy evening with friends or family. The box itself is small and the cards even smaller, so it’s also portable if you’re going somewhere and want to have a fun way to kick off conversations- it has more than you’ll ever get through in one sitting.

I took this to two parties in November, both Friendsgiving parties where I only knew the host, and the cards are great for getting a group of strangers to all talk to one another. Knocked off one star because a couple of the questions are pretty frickin’ spicy to ask a room full of strangers (like “do you believe people can truly be rehabilitated in prison?”), and because it calls itself a “game” (it is in no way a game), but otherwise it served its intended purpose beautifully and people enjoyed it.

After more than 40 years and the kids are grown we decided to introduce this game as something new to do instead of just watching a movie together and complaining about politics. Everyone really loved it and wanted to do it at our next event. I have used it in small groups of strangers to help us get to know one another and it works great. Some of the questions might not be suitable for strangers to answer it might be a little too personal or irrelevant I prefer to open up the question to the whole group to answer if they want to. You can go online and get a pronunciation guide so you know how to say the name of this game LOL.
